Julia call and all the things cjdoris has been working on are really cool, and definitely moving in the direction I like. If conda had some integration with JuliaPkg, I think it could be a complete solution.

There is a lot of work to do though.
I paused because I wanted to see Julia 1.9 before proceeding. Conda-forge could be used to precompile code in the cloud for you. That maybe kind of interesting.
