Fall in love with Julia: Streaming Analytics with OnlineStats.jl

Hi all, this introductory series is for you:
- you do Data Science in R, Python, Matlab, Fortran, etc.?
- you like it high-level and high-performant?
Realtime analytics is a widespread challenge where as of today Java is still one of the most used programming languages. That is going to change with Julia.
We are going to take an introductory look at OnlineStats.jl, a package for online analytics, which can scale easily to realtime or big data. It comes with lovely visualization, making it a perfect topic for a 101 hands-on session.
As usual in this series, you will get a beginner-friendly hands-on experience using a Jupyter-Notebook, with which you can try out OnlineStats.jl yourself and also experiment further afterwards.
