New versions of MATLAB causing immediate segfaults when calling the engine within Julia (library conflict?)

I would appreciate any help trying to resolve the following issue:

segfault with Matlab 2022a on Windows · Issue #200 · JuliaInterop/MATLAB.jl (github.com)

NOTE: C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2022b\bin\win64 contains a lot of libraries which are likely (?) conflicting with Julia
