.obj format files exported from Blender, which include object names (
o keyword). I’d like to retain the association between these object names and the geometry they refer to. As far as I can tell this isn’t currently supported in the MeshIO loader. Similarly it doesn’t look like materials information (
usemtl) is preserved.
Is there a way to preserve the object names and materials information when loading with MeshIO? Or with some other package?
