I’ve been running into errors trying to use Measurements.jl
combined with ModelingToolkit.jl
when there’s array-valued parameters involved. Consider the following toy problem:

which returns ERROR: TypeError: in Measurement, in T, expected T<:AbstractFloat, got Type{Real}
.
From the stacktrace (included below) it seems that it’s caused by the initialization problem trying to promote the parameter to a Vector{Real}
. Is it possible to prevent this promotion or the generation of an InitializationProblem altogether? The initialization of the system seems so trivial I’m not sure why one is being created in the first place. I was planning on opening an issue on this but at this point I’m not sure if it’s actually a problem with MTK or I just don’t understand system initialization.
