Hello,
I am interested in developing a simulation with Agents.jl involving motor vehicles and pedestrians. The goal is to analyze the impact of pedestrian traffic on motor vehicle traffic. In this simulation, motor vehicles only travel on the streets, but pedestrians can travel on streets, cross streets, or travel off the streets. Is this possible in Agents.jl and if so, what general approach is recommended?
Thanks!
yes this is possible, the OSMSpace does contain information about the street type. You’d have to manually restrict different agents to move to different nodes however, there is not yet an automatic function in Agents.jl. If you do create one, it would be great if you contribute it back!

Thank you for your reply. Sounds good. I will look into developing a solution and would be willing to share or open a PR if the solution is suitable for Agents.jl. I am not very familiar with OpenStreetMapSpace and Open Street Maps more generally. So I will need a bit of time to familiarize myself. Would you (and/or someone else) be willing to advise as I try to work through a solution?
I personally do not have the capacity unfortunately.
No problem. I will post questions as they arise and see if someone can assist.
