Make Github profile links clickable? + pkg dev group?

Hi, I noticed that there is a profile field for Github username on this site, but it is not clickable, which makes it less convenient to get to that profile from this site easily. Some people have added their github links directly into their profile website field, which is a solution, but it’s still weird when most people don’t have a clickable link but do have their username listed.

Maybe the github username could be automatically a link?

Also, as an aside I’d like to propose the creation of a Package Developers user group.

I would love to have that, but it is missing support on the discourse side. The Github field is simply a custom field with no special properties and we would either need to do this in the style (with Javascript) or add support for this in upstream discourse.
