Some posts have extremely long headlines, for example this one. Is there a way for the site maintainers to set a maximal length for the headline? Reading overly long headlines just takes time way when scanning topics.

Well, that post has other problems. Post titles are a shared resource, and regulars can edit them to help curate the forum.
