In case you missed it, there are not one, but two JuliaCon conferences happening this year 
The global event in Pittsburgh, and a local event in… Paris!

The call for proposals is open at https://pretalx.com/juliacon-local-paris-2025/, until May 15th.
We want to see all of the cool stuff that you’ve been building in Julia. The scientific software. The groundbreaking research. The nerdy packages. Even the downright crazy ideas. And we are especially excited about building the European community around Julia!
If you have already submitted to JuliaCon Global but you want to attend the Paris event too, duplicate submissions are welcome (although there is no acceptance guarantee).
Note that we are also recruiting reviewers for this event. If you are interested in evaluating proposals and crafting a high-quality schedule, please leave a comment below or reach out privately to @mbesancon and myself.
