Yet another (arrrgggghhhh!!!) text editor. In the words of its developer, he/she tries to beat VIM at its own game. The design philosophy sounds fascinating. When I have access to a *nix box, I will give it a try.
First full screen editor I ever used was vi on a VAX running a very, very early version of ATT unix. I’ve been a vi user ever since and spent a bit of effort making vim on my Mac look like vi on a VT100. Step 1 is to disable those annoying colors … 
I once wrote a vt100 emulator for an IBM PC model 1. @Tamas_Papp has a point that once you get hooked on vi, you can be hooked for life. I never had the patience for emacs.
