How to use Julia 1.9?

I heard people use pre-release builds of Julia 1.9 but apparently the language server doesn’t support it. Are people using Julia without language server or what?

It does if you use the pre-release version. Click on the button “pre-release” on the configuration page of the vscode Julia plugin.

You can now update the Julia Language Support extension to version 1.40.1 and all should work.
