I have a large DAE problem (102 variables) and have trouble finding consistent initial conditions.
I always get:
[IDAS ERROR] IDACalcIC
Newton/Linesearch algorithm failed to converge.
Is there a way to debug this?
There’s a reason why we are trying to move away from opaque C++ libraries 
. Not really, that’s what SUNDIALS reports: we’re giving you all of it. gg nore. Try DABDF2 and see what it does: we can at least inspect that more.
