Ok, thanks. I have been using this AUR instead of the official Arch package because it says it’s only downloading official packages, but I tried with the actual official binaries from the download page and got only the second part of the error:

isopen(::Union{Base.AsyncCondition, Timer})

So it seems to be a websocket error from HTTP
MethodError: no method matching isopen(::HTTP.WebSockets.WebSocket)
rather than a problem with gksqt. So I mark this thread as resolved an will open an other one (or an issue on HTTP repo) when I will have identified the problem.
