Failure to retrieve cache files with language server

I’m using Julia 1.7.0 on an M1 Mac with VS Code 1.62.3 and Julia for VS Code 1.5.6. When I load the extension the language server fails to start, giving the following error message:

This will continue five times until it gives up. It looks like the cache files it’s pointing to don’t exist. Has anyone experienced this? Any help much appreciated.

I’m not sure if this would solve it since I’m not using VS Code at the moment, but ultimately I did realize that the release version of LanguageServer actually wasn’t working at all in any environment. I resolved that by installing the master (add LanguageServer#master) where it functioned properly on my M1 Mac. It’s possible that the VS Code extension will also work with the master branch installed.
