DifferentialEquations.jl not precompiling

I’ve been using Differentialequations.jl with VSCode for some time now, but got a precompiling error today, tried remove and reinstalling the package, and still getting the precompiling error. I’ve added the whole stacktrace below :

Do you need all those packages together at the same time? If not, you should really consider using local environments for your tasks, cramming dozens of packages in the global environment is just a recipe for getting stuck in a package resolution nightmare where you can’t update packages.

100% this. There’s more than a few problem packages here. BlockDiagonals.jl doesn’t allow FillArrays v1. I’d try ]rm BlockDiagonals and then ]up and see if you’re good. That’s probably holding back a whole lot of things. But as Mose says, a giant package list like that is kind of a nightmare and I would use environments rather than hold all packages in global.
