I would love some feedback on a potential breaking change in PkgTemplates to make package creation easier on GitHub. Since that is the only hosting service I use, I’m blind to how it would affect GitLab et al.

Please don’t change.
The default works well for sites where the proxy server does not permit ssh://
I had to change from ssh:// to https:// for that exact reason.
