Congratulations to Alan Edelman of MIT, one of the co-creators of Julia (I didn’t have to say that, did I?).
He was recognized with Prestigious 2019 IEEE Computer Society Sidney Fernbach Award. Among other accomplishments of Edelman was listed development of the Julia programming language.
