I was looking into the Genie framework to build a webapp. It seems like there is some good integration between Genie and Plotly plots. However I was wondering whether Genie can work with Makie and CairoMakie plots. My specific need is for CairoMakie right now, but it would be wonderful if Genie worked with WGLMakie or such. There was a post from last year on this topic, but I never saw any subsequent code or examples in that post. Hence I thought some things might have changed in the year since that original post.

I would also be interested in combining Makie plots with the Genie Framework. Does no one have an idea how to make it work?
