A (first) special session “Julia, JuMP for Operations Research” is organized during ROADEF’2018, the next French national OR conference. This edition will be held at Lorient (Brittany, France), February 21-23, 2018. This conference is organized since 1998, and gathers together from 350 to 500 participants.
All information are available (in … french) on the conference website (http://roadef2018.labsticc.fr/). However it is common to switch the sessions in English when speakers are not french speaking, and do not hesitate to contact (in…English) the organizers for any questions.
The deadline to submit your paper (an abstract) through EasyChair is: November 17, 2017.
Lorient is a small city located in front of the Atlantic ocean, connected to Paris by high speed train (TGV) network. Also, Air France is flying to Lorient airport from Paris-Orly airport.
This meeting will be an opportunity to promote Julia within the french OR community, and to increase its development in France.
