No, you need a license for matlab, it’s one of the issue with the microbenchmarks, it’s very hard to get the setup to even run them. I would maybe include Numba though.

Well, Python without any JIT optimization or R are no real competition to Julia. No need for benchmark to know that. Maybe you should consider LuaJit + SciLua / Torch.
