It is a nice article, making an effort to explain what makes Julia different.

That said, the cooking analogy for the expression problem gave me a headache. Perhaps, having used CL before Julia, I am a bit spoilt because I consider the expression problem solved. It’s like people talking about the “fire problem” after matches/lighters were invented.
