Any (Computational) Neuroscientist Julia user here?

I have quite a number of those hodge-podge packages on github: ) One that might be useful to someone is https://github.com/grero/RippleTools.jl which basically extracts data recorded from the Ripple data acquisition system (https://rippleneuro.com).

If you set up such an organization, to help with the neuroanatomy part I’d move https://github.com/timholy/AllenBrain.jl there. (It’s “just for me” right now and hasn’t been updated to Julia 1.x, but all that could happen if there are other users willing to help out.)

This is awesome! I’ve been thinking about adapting the allen brain atlas into a package for about a week now.

I have some LabJack API bindings that I suppose could be rolled into a usable package without too much effort.

Also, about a couple weeks away from being able to make a light-field microscopy simulation/deconvolution package public.

Is anybody of you part of the Human Brain Project? Please have a look at this thread. Thanks!

I am. Thanks for the pointer!

We also have some tools(https://experica.org) for doing vision experiment and data exporting.
The data analysis part are almost shifted to Julia, which deal with Ephys(Neuropixels), 2P and ISI.

A dedicated organization with some basic packages will definitely help a lot of people and encourage collaboration.

I am. Thank you for the link.

Is there an organization already?

Not that I know. In Trieste (Italy), we launched a group - https://julia-trieste.github.io - but it is not focused on Comp. Neuroscience. At Antwerpen University, where I worked from 2008 until 2019, I taught a class on Comp. Neuroscience using Julia and Jupyter.
