Announcing the release of version 0.5.1 of ViscousFlow.jl, a set of tools for computing and analyzing 2-d (for now) viscous incompressible flows with arbitrary body shapes. The package relies on the method of immersed layers (a form of immersed boundary method) with finite differences on staggered Cartesian grids to enable easy problem setup. A number of prototype problems are provided in the docs. We invite anyone to use, comment, contribute, or to develop other PDE solvers based on our general ImmersedLayers.jl code base.
