This is a maintenance release with only one bug fix. So it is not something to be specifically announced.
The reason for this announcement is that it has indeed been four years since the last release of v0.8.4, and some people might think that FPN is a stale project.
Well, I almost died, but FPN is still alive. (The PkgEval badge is now green!)
In short, we are looking for someone to help with development and maintenance!
