Could we invite John Etgen to JuliaCon?
I share some of the general sentiment (I really do and would guess many Julia users do) but he goes too far with the AI comparison IMO. In some sense AI is just a much easier problem to begin with. In other areas it’s just much harder to find and define good levels of abstraction. Of course, we should still try.
As for inviting him to JuliaCon, we already have selected some keynote speakers. So would have to wait for next year.
