I just had a small revelation… following a post on the issasigned function I wanted to discover more about it. Googling for the documentation I saw a reddit article which prompted the reader to read the docstrings…
So rather than use a browser and google for the documentation… if you are already in the REPL (or a notebook) just go into documentation mode and tab complete the function…
Quicker and dare I say it maybe more accurate.
As a total aside when I were lad before the web you had to reach for paper books.
Then as I got more into VAX systems you would reach for the Orange Wall of manuals.
Progressed like everyone else to searching for documentation and solutions to problems.
Guess it is high time I caught up with literate programming!
