I don’t see support for reading or writing raw image files from cameras in FileIO.jl or the JuliaImages ecosystem. Obviously most cameras have proprietary raw formats, so writing those files isn’t super useful, but it would be really nice to be able to write DNG files in some of my work.
I do a lot of astronomical image processing, and FITS is usually the standard for this, but sometimes it’s helpful to write DNG for compatibility with certain software, or to read camera raw formats directly.
