I just opened an issue on Github suggesting support for Python style for universal newlines in Julia and realized maybe I should have posted here first.
Anyway here is a link to the suggestion https://github.com/JuliaLang/julia/issues/19785 . I’m interested in hearing what other Julia users think about it.
