For me, just using MCMCChains causes a multi-minute latency for tab-completion, but not if I’d first usinged all of its dependencies. Might be completely unrelated, but see https://github.com/JuliaLang/julia/issues/34098.
I ran Pirate Hunter on MCMCChains. It came up with several hits, but none of them looked like obvious candidates for the cause.
