REPL freezes without error

Why does this happen? julia> using Plots, Interact │ Packages [Plots, Interact] not found, but packages named [Plots, Interact] are available from a registry. │ Install packages? │ (@v1.12) pkg> add Plots Interact └ (y/n/o) [y]: Selection not recognized No matter if I type y{enter} or just {enter} or ‘n’ or ‘o’ and {enter} always the same response “Selection not recognized”?

Conclusion. Ditch Julia.

1. it aint ready for prime time.
2. you can whilst dixie before getting answers to apparently simple questions.
