Precompilation of MKL failed; no evidence left behind

MKL precompilation fails. There is no evidence left behind to debug the issue. How is this sort of thing debugged?

Also, what operating system/architecture are you using? MKL is available only on Intel architectures (i686 and x86_64) and only for some operating systems.
