Announcing a fully founded PhD position opened at ISTeP, Sorbonne University in the centre of Paris.
The PhD topic investigates two-phase flow modelling applied to rare metal pegmatites and granit. The modelling tasks will be carried out writing Julia GPU code using ParallelStencil.jl (see e.g. the hydro-mechanic miniapp)
The PhD candidates will settle with Prof. Laetitia Le Pourhiet in Paris and collaborate with Dr. Alexis Plunder at the french mining Bureau (BRGM) and Dr. Ludovic Räss (ETHZ). We are seeking for candidates who would like to do some code development.
