Parsing Julia code with a large array is very slow or results in `StackOverflowError`

“Fail” as in “is slower than it should be”?

Fail as in “throws that StackOverflowError”.

I wonder if the Julia parser really is this slow, won’t it also cause issue elsewhere down the road?

Possibly? Parsing all of Base takes > 20s, but I don’t think anyone has really complained about that so far.
