PackageCompiler hangs while compiling nonincremental system image on Julia v1.11

I let it run and after 3.5 hours I stopped it. I saw that Julia consumes zero RAM and CPU, thus it kind of ended itself.

I only tried to get the official example library to compile. This must be possible.
