Open vscode plot pane in 2nd editor group

I like how Juno allows to configure the layout, such that the plot pane (and others) start always at the same place.

In VS Code, when I make the first plot, the plot viewer is opened as a new tab in the editor group I’m working on. I can then move it to a different group if I want to see the code and plots in different panes. But I would like to know if it is possible to configure it such that the plot viewer always starts in the second (or a new) editor group.

We don’t support config for that right now. Could you open an issue for this feature, I agree it would be useful to make this a config option.
