Hi everyone, here to talk about my new package Notifyers.jl. This package implement the Observer pattern with Notifyer who have the particularity to possess states. States affect the Notifyer behavior so they can work synchronously or asynchronously and switching between them can be done in just one line. Plus the there are plenty other substates and combining them can help create unique behaviors. The package is performant but the only problem is that Notifyer creation is a pretty heavy operation but if it’s done at boot time, there should be no problem. Link : GitHub - Gesee-y/Notifyers.jl: This is package that implement a powerful reactive system for julia. With is state changing abilities, you can easily swith between synchronous and asynchronous states.
Like Outdoors.jl - Flexible windows management, this package also gives the strong impression that it is AI generated. Thus, I suspect it to be spam, and would caution anyone from following the link.
If I’m wrong, I apologize in advance, but then the package is definitely not yet ready for public consumption: it completely lacks documentation or any coherent messaging on what it does or how it could be used.
Buy I ask myself, what makes you think think this package is AI generated, I made it from scratch… And it took me time
I will go into a bit more detail on that when I’m available, see Outdoors.jl - Flexible windows management - #6 by goerz
Yeah, I would be really happy to hear your feedback, it’s actually the first time I share my work on internet
Good for you! Don’t let this initial experience or my comments discourage you! Welcome to the Julia community!
