Just a suggestion. NetLogo has R , Python and Mathematica extensions. why not create a Julia extension?

No, it’s beyond my ability. I would be a very interested user and I think it is also a good opportunity for creating bridges between Julia and NetLogo community.
I guess no one with the ability to create such an extension has found the need for it. Unless you make one yourself or pay someone to make one for you, it’s unlikely anyone would code it up before they need it themselves.

Yes, you may be right. I know that people from NetLogo thought about generalizing the Python extension architecture to ease the interoperability with other languages but this is only a conjecture.
