Fall in love with Julia: Graph data in Julia with Graphs.jl 101

▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔

Hi all, this is an introductory series for total beginners. This time about Graphs.jl.

The most natural way to represent generic data is with a graph. However, efficient computations on graphs can be challenging. Graphs.jl is a full fledged graph library like NetworkX for Python, similarly easy to use, but in addition Graphs.jl gives you high performance.

We are going to take an introductory look at Graphs.jl.
As usual in this series, you will get a beginner-friendly hands-on experience using a Jupyter-Notebook, with which you can try out Graphs.jl yourself and also experiment further afterwards. The material will be made available at the github repository https://github.com/schlichtanders/fall-in-love-with-julia
You do not need to prepare anything.

Looking forward to see you all!
Spread the news and invite everyone you know to not miss this Julia 101!
It is going to be online, so everyone from everywhere is welcome.

yours,
