This year during Supercomputing Frontiers Europe 2018 conference there is going to be a workshop on running Julia on a large scale. We will feature deployments on AWS Spot Fleet consisting of 100+ nodes as well as Okeanos supercomputer.
As a byproduct of the conference we have set up Julia to run on Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling infrastructure (Okeanos supercomputer and Topola computing cluster). So now any researcher wanting to do computations on those machines can apply for a computing grant and have Julia already set up and ready to go.
Anyone interested is welcome to participate.
