Rich and consistent type system, let’s take for example AbstractArrays - afaik there is no abstract array interface in C++ that can be used consistently in different libraries, so they can be composed with each other with no wrappers.
I thought the same from having some experience in C++ 2003. But C++11’s template system is pretty darn solid. Maybe there’s stuff it can’t handle, but from what I saw, it’s pretty darn flexible. My point isn’t that it does exist - but someone could pop in and go “well if you do this this and this now it does exist”
