We’re happy to announce FerriteCon 2026, a one-day conference focused on the Ferrite.jl finite element toolbox, taking place on 24th September 2026 at TU Braunschweig, Germany.
Ferrite.jl is an open-source finite element toolbox in Julia, designed to keep mathematical abstractions while providing performant building blocks for FEM code. If you work with FEM in Julia or are curious about it, this is a good opportunity to learn more, meet the community, and see research done with Ferrite.jl.
The program will include:
- Talks on recent developments in Ferrite.jl
- Research use cases and applications across fields
- Discussions with Julia users and open-source contributors
You don’t need to be a developer to present — all kinds of Ferrite-related use cases are welcome, from research projects to teaching experiences. The conference is free of charge.
