This error seems to be related to

where updating packages was mentioned to solve the problem.

After updating all packages by typing

(@v1.6) pkg> update

the error still persists. What can be done to solve this problem?

Problem solved after deleting Manifest.toml and Project.toml and installing all needed packages again
