Not cursed at all - PythonCall and JuliaCall themselves are hosted in a single joint repo.

Wow, that’s right, I see that in dev mode the juliapkg.json (PythonCall.jl/pysrc/juliacall/juliapkg-dev.json at main · JuliaPy/PythonCall.jl · GitHub) points to the package folder itself… nice!
