Got a 80 seconds of totality in Montpelier, VT. Two highlights for me were seeing Venus shining brightly below and a large solar prominence, which to the eye looked like a single spot of sunlight poking through on the lower edge of the moon. I didn’t have the presence of mind to remove the solar filter on my telescope and see it magnified. On the other hand I could have wasted my short bit of totality fiddling with equipment.
