Since PSA: Compat requirements in the General registry are changing is locked, I’ll open a new thread here.
I have a few questions:
- Is that linked post still the most up to date information on how to add compat bounds to standard libraries ?
- I understand that more and more standard libraries are becoming separate packages. Is the guideline in the linked post meant to apply only to those stdlibs that have already become separate packages, or to all stdlibs (regardless of there they have become separate packages by now or not).
- The linked post mentions that for some stdlibs one should add the bound
<0.0.1
, but this is not explained. What’s the reason for this bound ? Should we still add this to ALL stdlibs ?
