I would suggest creating a “Community” section, for posts which aren’t directly about code, e.g.: Meetup/conference announcements Founding of new organisations (or deprecation of old ones) Teaching questions and resources Job/contracting advertisements (moved from julia-jobs ) Could also move site …

+1 for having it. Renaming the uncategorized category may be better. Anyway, I want some channel to share ideas/news with the community that are neither questions nor domain-specific discussions.

Good idea! Although I would like to keep Site Feedback separated, since it purely about how can we improve the discourse setup.
