I would suggest creating a “Community” section, for posts which aren’t directly about code, e.g.:
- Meetup/conference announcements
- Founding of new organisations (or deprecation of old ones)
- Teaching questions and resources
- Job/contracting advertisements (moved from julia-jobs)
- Could also move site feedback to here
+1 for having it. Renaming the uncategorized category may be better. Anyway, I want some channel to share ideas/news with the community that are neither questions nor domain-specific discussions.
Good idea! Although I would like to keep Site Feedback separated, since it purely about how can we improve the discourse setup.
