The JuliaHealth Admin Team is excited to announce that we will have a JuliaHealth Mini-Symposium at JuliaCon 2025 in Pittsburgh, PA, from July 21–26, 2025!
This mini-symposium aims to show how Julia is used in biomedical and health applications, provide tutorials, and encourage collaboration within the JuliaHealth community. Whether you’re an experienced developer, a researcher, or just getting started with Julia in healthcare, we invite you to submit your proposals to share your work and ideas.
What We’re Looking For
Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
- Data acquisition, processing, and analysis
- Tutorials on Julia packages
- Applications promoting health equity and open science
Session Formats
- Lightning Talks: Short, focused presentations (10 minutes).
- Tutorials/Longer Talks: In-depth sessions (30 minutes) showcasing packages, workflows, or applications.
How to Submit
To submit your proposal, search for the JuliaCon 2025 Pretalx page and navigate to Submit a Proposal.
- Deadline: January 31, 2025, at 12 PM (EST).
- Track Selection: When filling in the submission form, select the track: The JuliaHealth Mini-Symposium.
