I tried asking to several LLM (ChatGPT, Gemini..) the question : “what’s odd with this parking slot”.. None told me what looks obviously very odd in the photo, even after several hints/attempts:

Yes, to get to a vehicle their friend is using to drive them to/from this location 
The friend could also accompany them of course, but having the guidance strip there anyway probably doesn’t hurt. What to do about cars parking on it though?

If they are accompanied, they would not likely need the strip, but I can get your point…
A similar confusion is about Braille buttons on drive through ATMs.
The driver does not have to be the disabled person.

The strips are embedded, not painted, so they provide a tactile clue for direction for someone using a cane.
Man, am I stupid for not seeing whats wrong ? seems like very normal parking space.
