Anthropic gave me 6 months of Claude Max for my contributions to the Julia ecosystem :)

Hi!

Anthropic just gave me 6 months of Claude Max plan for my contributions to the Julia ecosystem (PrettyTables.jl + SatelliteToolbox.jl).

I am so glad for three reasons:

  1. It is a statement that the Julia language’s importance is getting higher every day.
  2. It confirms that printing tables are working with satellites is a good thing to do
  3. I would never be able to afford Claude Max 20x here

This tool is really helping me a lot in those two packages! I will be able to improve them, fix bugs, and add new features in a way I would never have been able to. For example, the time to print the first table in PrettyTables.jl (text backend) was reduced by 50%. The reason was a type instability that I would probably never catch myself.

Let’s “Build something great”!

Now I can use Kaimon.jl for more than 50 min

The larger context windows and more advanced models do result in higher quality generation, IMO.

By the way, did you know that KaimonSlate.jl is in General?

No! I missed that. I was trying to create a very nice “notebook” (I do not know how to call) to help us designing orbits here

Yes notebook is a correct term.

We’ve been working on some extensions for Slate which already show stuff in space! Stay tuned for more.
